Haunted is the panic of watching a relationship slip away in real time. The drums quicken like a heart about to burst — she writes "can't let go" as frantic and beautiful.

I'm a little afraid of this one; it's too true: you know it's ending, but your body panics before your mind does. Taylor makes that uncontrolled, near-terrified holding-on feel theatrical, like a final lunge.
