This is the album's exit: past the chewed-up old wounds, finally seeing daylight. It's "I'm ready to love cleanly now." Haven't you lifted your head from a mess and found, surprisingly, it was morning?

It writes healing without melodrama — certain, warm. Taylor closes Lover with it, like saying: all that before is over, now I want to like someone soberly and well. You'll feel it's time to walk into the light yourself.
