Those 'almost dialed, then set down' restraints are lighter, more trembling re-recorded. Still 'wanting too much to press it down,' but in 2021 it sounds like someone who made it through sighing for her younger self: see, you held back, and you got through.

I know that Almost. Then it was a hand hovering over dial; now it's the gentle look back at that hand. Same reluctance, time gave it a different warmth.
