Holy Ground
Curator's Note
Interpretation
Holy Ground remembers an old love as 'sacred ground' — not the NYC plot, the days themselves. She looks back without blame, grateful: thank you for letting me stand somewhere that good.
I love this 'no score-settling' glance back. Too many breakup songs busy blaming; she says 'that ground is holy, I was lucky to walk it.' Bright, warm, it gilds even the scars. You'll feel: some loves end, but where they stood, you'll call holy for life.
