Interpretation

This is the album's last cut: knowing it's a hoax, loving anyway. It's a sinking no sobriety can save. Haven't you, for someone, watched it rot in plain sight and still couldn't step back?

It writes "obsession" with almost no strength, yet it hurts most. Taylor, with bare arrangement, leaves "I hate it, but I can't leave" hanging. You'll be wordless a long while.

This is an interpretation based on publicly available material. Not official commentary.
