Interpretation
Invisible is the quiet twin of Teardrops. Same unrequited premise, but turned further inward: not "I'm sad" but "I'm basically not there." Taylor nails the teenage transparency of "I'm standing right in front of you and you don't see me" — precise and aching.
It shares DNA with The Outside but is more private: it doesn't watch the in-crowd, it watches one person and admits — to you, I'm probably air. That specific smallness is one of her sharpest emotions.
