Change re-cut is an 'they doubted me, I'll climb anyway' anthem. No one believed she'd make it; she wrote 'the wave will come, we'll stand on it.'

I love that 'just watch' teenage fire. In 2021 the wave truly came; she sings it from the crest — not a prophecy, a report. Some songs are written in spite, worn as medals.
